Hola! Me llama Katrina.
I live in Toronto, the biggest city in Canada. I enjoy several outdoor sports like tennis, canoeing and cycling, but also quiet activities like reading, quilting and painting. When I travel, I am very interested in daily life in other cultures or countries.
My Spanish level is B1. Right now, I can read much better than I can speak. I recently retired from teaching French. I taught children aged 5 to 12 during my career. I also speak German, however I am not sure I could teach it to you.

I have been studying Spanish on my own for a while now and I can understand if it is spoken slowly. I don't have a Spanish-speaking friends or it's difficult to take a lesson where I live, but I really want to practice using Spanish than passive learning I have been doing. I am into photography, musical instruments, nature, technology and books. I am always open to get receipe recommendations as well.
I would like to practice writing in Spanish via email as I still need a lot of practice thinking in terms of Spanish.

Having not much experience in talking and making friends not cause shy or introvert just a bit limited in boundries(I know for sure it sounds weird) studying for actuarial science's exam lets be friends if you are into the fields of finance or risk management.
