I speak Russian (native) and English (quite fluent, around B level — some say it’s close to C, but only when I speak on familiar topics 😀). I feel that my spoken English is getting worse due to lack of practice so that is why I’m looking for English-speaking friends to practice more.
I’m into video and tabletop games, heavy music, traveling, programming, and language learning stuff. I’ve just started learning German (some of my friends also learn it), Spanish (I like how it sounds) and Serbian — the last one might be a big thing for me, as I plan to move there next year (so I'm especially interesed if you speak Serbian or its cousines Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin). 'Ello, my name is Petrus. I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian who wants to learn Russian. Yes, I am Finnish by ethnicity. Arabic language is in my plans too, but Russian is currently the priority which I want to have my main focus on now for awhile. Also open to Serbian, Ukrainian and Church Slavonic (but, you don't speak that as your main language, right?)
Going to move to Helsinki soon so it will be my first time living there!
My interests/hobbies currently and from the past have been different religions, philosophy, films as an art, reading. Sounds snobish & nerdy, I know, but that's just how I grew up! Voluntary work and helping people is important to me. I've been in different roles of serving my local parish I am preparing to go study theology, which is related to why I want to especially learn these languages.
I know a bit of Biblical Hebrew, and that is a language I want to advance too more some day

BulgareHey everyone! I live in Moscow and work in marketing as an analyst (to be competely honest, never thought I'll be doing that, at the very least this is not something I dreamt about for sure:))
To make things easier (for those of you who doesn't want to read too much about me):
- I'd love to study Arabic and Turkish or have a language practice in Spanish/Bulgarian/French/German.
- I could offer you my help with Russian or simply a friendly partner ready to talk to you about almost anything on a handful of languages.

For those who require more:
I studied history, graduated from language and literature department. Had some short meeting with history of law and dive much deeper in history of arts/architecture. So I believe I should be able to keep the conversation and make it interesting for both of us. Regarding my language skills, I have studied Spanish, French and German and some Bulgarian (just from aural reception, so no grammar:(). Unfortunately without practice I have lost some of my skills, but with your help I should be back in play really soon.
I have a certain dream to keep studying languages, so if anyone shares that passion, I'd be glad to share it. My current priorities are Arabic and Turkish, as for Chinese that's something I was willing to study for quite some time but didn't dare, since it definitely seems to require a lot of patience and free time. I am also all up for practicing Spanish and French.
