Hi,
I live with my family and work in Warsaw as CFO in a construction company. I like reading books, especially historical novels, all kinds of music, visiting exhibitions, museums and all the historical places. Looking for new friends to talk to, exchange emails or snail mails. It'd be great if I could improve my language skills by the way :-) I can help with learning Polish, altough I'm aware it's not one of the most common languages in the world. But still, Poland is realy beautiful and interesting country with a big dose of tragic but colorful history, great landscapes, wonderful culture and traditons and friendly people. Write if you want to know more :-)

Hi all!
I've been studying Italian and German for many months now. I'd say I've reached a widely-defined intermediate level in both. Personally, I'm a father of two, have a lovely wife, a dog, like reading books and watching all kinds of sports (esp. football, MMA and tennis).
When you happen to share at least some of the above mentioned points (and also if you don't;), don't hesitate to poke me. I'd love to find people to share my language journey with.

Hello :) My name is Marta. I learn English for a long time, but I still feel like I'm not good enough and I want to improve it- mainly my speaking skills. The main reason I want to know English is to feel free to travel abroad without any fear and to get to know people from all over the world.
I additional choose Spanish as language to pactice because I love like the language sounds and now or in the future I also would like to learn it.
Besides I like riding a bicycle, listening to music and gardening (my main love :) ).
I can teach you Polish.

A Polish man in his 60s. A former soldier, deployed a few times, currently a computer whiz, a handyman and, from time to time, a tutor, too.
I've been intrigued by Africa, its people, its culture, socio-economic problems and, of course, its language for a few decades now. Since in this day and age options and resources I never would've dreamed about in the first half of my life are available at hand, I've decided to pursue this passion of mine and learn the language of the land and the people that interest me so much.
Below you can find the details on what I have to offer and what I would like to get out of a language exchange.
I offer help and educational resources for learning Polish (Native).
I am quite good in English (B2/C1).
I also have a certification in German (B1/B2).
I am literate as well as capable of communication in Russian (I attended school while Russian was still a part of the curriculum, I also worked with Russians from time to time during my military career) (B1/B2).
I communicate well enough in French (A2/B1).
I know some Spanish, but it's most likely something between A0 and A1.
The optimal setup for me would be to teach you Polish and for you to teach me Swahili. However, if you're willing to exchange Swahili for any of the other languages mentioned above, I'd be more than willing to give it a shot, but be warned I might be a bit rusty.
I lead a pretty busy lifestyle between running my own business and taking care of what is basically a small farm, so I can't guarantee I'll be available on daily or even more than once a week-ly basis. One of the things I'd appreciate the most and require for a long-term exchange is reciprocity - I will send you materials, I might even make audio files, but in exchange, I would like at least a link to website or a book recommendation when it comes to learning Swahili. And, yes, I am using DuoLingo already.
I am not here to look for a spouse or a romantic/sexual partner. I am also not here to hand out money for a sob story or ship any material resources. I will not assume you are trying to do anything like this from the get go, but, unfortunately, I've had a handful of experiences like this during the last five years while trying to find a Swahili language exchange partner.
I am also not looking for friends, but that doesn't mean we can't become friends in the long run (at least as far as people can become friends while communicating solely through a computer). My primary goal here is the language exchange, but if you're a reliable, polite person and won't try to befriend me just to ask me for money/handout/to marry you so you can get a visa (no, I don't see myself as overly attractive, I'm just leaving this out here to avoid yet another scam - besides, I am married already), and we click, I'll treat you just like I would treat any other good friend of mine.
