Hi, I’m Tong. I am currently studying Art in the US and hoping to practice my speaking and writing skills in English. I’ve been using Duolingo to learn French and German for about two years, and I just started learning Japanese. I would like to try using these languages in real life!

I speak Mandarin and a Wu dialect. I use Simplified Chinese. (If you are learning Traditional Chinese, I can read it as well.) If you have any questions about the Chinese language or Chinese culture, I’d be happy to share what I know.

I use they/them pronouns in English, “他” in Chinese。I'm curious about Queer culture in different places and languages! Also, I have four cats back home, I love theatre, and drawing, and if you have any book recommendations, please share them with me!
