Hello - I’m a writer, musician and audio engineer who recently moved to Istanbul looking to improve my Turkish skills.

In the past I’ve studied Arabic and Spanish and really enjoy the challenge of learning languages. I’ve only just begun learning Turkish and could really use some help with numbers (otherwise I’m going to have to keep paying the “language tax” in unmetered taksis and at shops 😅).

Other than that, hoping not just to improve my Turkish but to meet some locals, form friendships and get to know the city better as a local would.
