hello, my name's Alex, I'm brazilian and I'm learning english. I've been studying at home in my free time for about 3 years. I learned what I know so far by listening to songs, podcasts, watching videos on youtube and reading a lot of books. I continue studying but, what has really helped me lately are the conversations. You really start to use the language when you need to have real conversations, when you need to find a way to say what you need to say. In this moment, everything you've learned seems to start connecting. That's why I'm looking for someone who is an english native speaker. Not only to learn english, but also the teach brazilian portuguese once I'm a native speaker in this language. I think that when you reach a certain level of fluency you need, in addition to study, to start talking. This is key to motivate your brain to put into practice everything you've learned by studying.
