Ciao! I’m retired (but still very busy!), dividing my time between a flat in London and a house in the beautiful Sussex countryside. I’m married with two grown-up children.

Before retiring I ran my own consultancy in banking change management, and I still do a little advisory work. I’m passionate about nature (ask about my “dark skies” project), music (I sing classical choral in a chamber choir) and travel, and I’ve explored many parts of Italy. I fell in love with the country, decided to learn the language, and now muddle along at an intermediate level.

I had a great online language exchange for 3 years, but my partner had to stop due to family illness. So I’m looking for a friendly native Italian speaker to help me improve my spoken Italian—and I’m very happy to help you with your English in return. Light-hearted conversation and cultural chat!
