I would like to practice my French with a native speaker who would have time and patience to cope with my incipient conversational French. I understand really well. I read and understand almost everything. But I have problems speaking. I had a conversation partner when I lived in Paris 15 years ago for a few months and it helped me a lot. I learned how to stand up to the butcher at the market then and it was a great achievement. Now, we travel to France often with my family and my son is going to spend a few months for study abroad in Paris soon. My husband is a professor of French history and I am a psychotherapist based in NY.
