Hii my name is Zainab I’m currently trying to learn Korean a few things about me are that I absolutely love Marvel (i think the name makes it obvious), listening to music I’m a sucker for good songs no matter the genre although I really like kpop other than that I also really like watching kdramas and I’m trying to learn how to play the guitar! Just returned to the UK after 23 years in France. Fluent in French, Native English, and intermediate Japanese (JLPT N3 / LILATE B2), but have had almost no practice in speaking Japanese other than a few trips to Japan a few years ago. Looking for language exchange in the Nottingham area.

! I've just found a study buddy, so I'm not currently looking for another one. However, I'll keep this visible in case I can help direct someone.
I am a Japanese based in Oxford, UK. I sometimes find it hard to keep up with English conversations, especially with native speakers. I would like to get more used to the speed and idioms of real spoken English. If you have a regional accent, that is a bonus for me (I especially struggle with Scottish and other regional accents).
Aside from language learning, I am interested in:
British history, culture, architecture, and classic novels
Nature in general
Making tea
Drawing
Learning more about plants, animals, and the city I live in
If you are interested in these areas, I could be a good partner.
I can understand and write some classical Japanese and tend to use a relatively rich vocabulary (prob top 5% among native Japanese), but I am happy to slow down and use simpler Japanese if needed.
