Hi, I'm Charlie and I'm just an average guy from the most average part of the United States, Indiana. Also currently working the average San Francisco tech job. When I'm not working, I find myself going outside a lot for biking or basketball, also like to cook and play video games. Love sports. Hoping to meet people and have some fun getting to know each other and practicing new languages! Happy to meet up and I can bike ride to anywhere nearby. I might be moving to Taiwan in a couple of months so that's the main reason I'm trying to learn Mandarin. I'm already at probably a low-intermediate level.

I am retired and want to learn more Cantonese. In speaking first, and then reading or writing. I did not learn it growing up because nobody talked to me. Best if my language partner and I meet face to face for conversation. At a local coffee shop. I spend a lot of time on the computer surfing the internet. I watch lots of movies with subtitle or closed captioned movies. I also like to eat at different restaurants.
