My name is Andrea, and I would like to practice Spanish (I have been learning the Argentine dialect and accent, specifically). I am at a late beginner level, more or less, but could use more practice with speaking/listening. In exchange, I would be happy to help with English! My son is in 11 years old going to a German immersion school since Kindergarten. He is a native English speaker and would benefit from conversations with a native German speaker. He is an avid English reader and loves talking to people. His teachers say he is most interested in current affairs discussions and he should join this forum. Nerdy to a fault, I absolutely love science and am on track to become a biomedical researcher. When I'm not geeking out, I am training in the gym with both weigh lifting or swimming.
I want to live in Japan after graduate school and do my post-doctorate research there, so I figure becoming fluent now will make it way easier down the road!
