I am from a large Irish family. I spent my childhood and early working career in England before moving to Scotland, where I lived and worked for 35 years. I moved to France during the pandemic and have decided to settle here.
I’ve taken up growing my own vegetables and some fruits. it’s a steep learning curve !
I like to listen to the radio while working in the garden.
I really love cooking, the arts, current and international affairs. I enjoy the outdoors and am very active but play no sports. I do however enjoy watching them especially Rugby.
I am still getting settled in France and I am really trying to embrace a new culture.
I have three children who work in the UK , Norway and Afghanistan.

Writing in Japanese is ok for me, but speaking and understand Japanese is difficult for me.

Je suis un homme de 43 ans ouvert à l'échange, intéressé par la cuisine (surtout italienne et française), le sport (jogging),la littérature, la poésie, les randos, les balades.
Je pratique l'anglais depuis le collège et l'italien de puis le lycée.

En ce moment je lis un livre en italien dans le texte : "Va dove ti porta il cuore", et je l'apprécie beaucoup.
J'aime beaucoup voyager, en Italie surtout. mes prochaines destinations seront sûrement le Connemara et Naples, pourquoi pas Rome aussi...
Je souhaites rencontrer un correspondant pour des entretiens sur skype afin d'améliorer mon anglais, pourquoi pas mon italien et donner mon expérience en français aux locuteurs de cette langue qui voudraient parler avec un natif de france.

Bonjour =) Moi c'est Baptiste, je suis Français d'origine et je parle assez bien anglais. Ma femme vient d'Iran et parle très bien Français, du coup j'ai eu envie d'apprendre le persan. Mon niveau progresse mais c'est encore très débutant. J'aimerais discuter avec des gens qui parle nativement persan et qui souhaite apprendre le Français. Ca pourrait être super de se voir en vrai dans Paris à deux ou en groupe si on trouve d'autres gens.
