Hi! Born in New Orleans, I grew up outside of Philadelphia and have been living in New York for 30 years. For languages I studied French in high school and Italian Language and Literature in college. I would love to practice more frequently. I am a film editor and own a post production company in Brooklyn. I love playing tennis, gardening and walking through New York.
I love learning languages and traveling. I'm currently studying Russian, but I've also studied Spanish, French, Portuguese and Vietnamese in the past.
I'm a teacher of sorts; I put out an educational podcast designed for intermediate English Language learners who want to practice their listening skills and their pronunciation skills. It's about American Culture.
I like photography, film, reading, working out, playing music and more.
I'd love to meet a friend on here to do stuff and learn both our target languages at the same time!
Hi! I'm just barely an extrovert. I love to challenge myself, mentor people around me, teach, learn and goof around. I love Latin American music, Asian food and everything about everyone else.
I live in Brooklyn, New York (Clinton Hill neighborhood), but I am from smaller cities in the middle of the United States. I have been to 47 of the 50 states. I live with my partner and dachshund-mixed dog.
I wish I could live in every country and city and rural zone in the world. I want to meet all of you and see your hometowns and eat what your family eats for months on end. Alas, what with capitalism being the economic system of the day, I need to have a full-time professional job and so can only visit a few countries a year. If I can visit locals, stay with locals and eat with locals, that's what I'll do.
If you're intellectually curious and philosophical about emotions and human nature, then we will get along famously. If not we will still learn a ton from each other so let's give it a try!
Hey :). Lived in New York City all my life, so on top of learning English I am essentially a tour guide as well.
I am interested in learning mandarin so if you got that going on, we most certainly can help each other out.
It's hard to sell oneself with merely words so check out this random dance video I made a while back haha
Hi, my name is Sammy. I'm a native Hebrew speaker with a deep appreciation for the English language.
I've been familiar with English for many years and have finally started to learn the language more diligently. I'm looking to improve my English as my main second language, including spelling, grammar, vocabulary, conversation skills, slang, etc.
In return, I'd be happy to help you improve all aspects of your Hebrew, whether it's vocabulary, grammar, conversation skills, or even slang, as much as you'd like.
I studied Hebrew in university and I'm a professional writer with grammatically correct Hebrew.
I live in Brooklyn and I'd like to practice my french. I took classes, but I need to practice with a native speaker so I can improve my pronunciation.
I'm a film/video editor. My hobbies are sewing, baking and other crafts.
I'd be happy to help with your English if you can help me with my French!
