Hey,
I'm an english speaking native from Kentucky originally. I've been living in Colorado for the past decade or so. I have a masters degree in forestry, but I work as an independent geospatial consultant. I'm looking at making a few new friends to chat with and practice my currently (11/24/2023) limited language abilities.
I love all things outdoors. I play the banjo, hike, camp, ski, draw, paint, and I am lucky enough to do primarily what I love for work! I'll save the rest for the chat! Feel free to hit me up! Hi, my name is Karryn and I'm looking for a way to start practicing Spanish. I spent some time in Central America a few years ago studying Spanish, but I lost a lot of it after I returned and especially during the pandemic. I am starting to study again, but need to practice speaking. I currently volunteer working with someone on her English, and so have some practice being a conversation partner.
Besides studying Spanish, I am a nurse and currently work in public health. I live in Colorado and love to enjoy the outdoors- running, skiing, biking, and more! I look forward to speaking with you!

I am simply curious and find languages fascinating in all of their forms. I stumbled across this site and am hopeful that it will lead me to achieve a goal of communicating in several languages. I am a native English speaker, however, I am proficient in Spanish and would like to improve my Spanish speaking ability. However, I am open to learning any language.

Hi, I'm Eric. I was born in New York City, but now live in Colorado, USA. I visit Japan once or twice every year (of course, I have not been since the start of the pandemic, but I hope to visit again soon). I have been to Tokyo (many times), Osaka, Hiroshima, Sapporo, Sendai, Hakuba, Himeji, Fukui, Nagoya, and several other places, and am always eager to experience new places and events in Japan.
Nihongo wo amari hanasemasen. I have been learning from an app, but would love to find a real person to have conversations with. Someone who is not shy about correcting me when I say silly things. :)
I would also like to brush up on my French. I used to speak it fairly well, but that was years ago, and I am out of practice.
Finally, I’d love to visit Russia someday, so I want to learn some Russian. But I am an absolute beginner with the Russian language.
