Hi! My name is Chloe. I’m originally from Seoul,South Korea and now live in Calgary, Canada. I majored in Korean Language and Literature in Korea. I have been living in Canada for 9 years now. I’m looking for friends in Canada—especially Calgarian—who would like to learn Korean. We could meet and practice both English and Korean together in a natural way. I enjoy cooking, and even though I live in Canada, I cook Korean food quite often. If you’re interested in Korean food and culture, I think it will be even easier for us to have good conversations. If you have a child in junior high school, we might have even more topics to talk about! I would love to meet someone around their 40s like me, but I’m happy to meet anyone who doesn’t mind the age difference.

Hello there. How’s your day going?
I currently moved to Calgary from Japan and I don’t know anyone here. I’d like to make friends but no one is just hanging out because it’s minus twenty degrees Celsius outside and freezing. So.. im hoping to find someone who I can talk to here🤭
I was a nurse in Japan for ten years and an assistant nurse in Sydney for a year in 2019. I worked at oncology department, cardiovascular department, dialysis and er. Nursing can be quite challenging sometimes but I find it’s also rewarding.
My hobbies are hiking, traveling, handcrafts and cafe exploration.

EspagnolI will be living in Tokyo from late April until late July 2024. I would be interested in doing a language exchange but my Japanese is beginner-level. My preferred method is to just enjoy the occasional day hiking (Saturday or Sunday) and chatting along the way or meeting for a beer or coffee. My expectations for learning Japanese are limited to the basics but I can help you improve your English.
I am a retired engineer but I started teaching English as a hobby. I have taught in Canada, Spain, and Japan.
