Estudié portugués en la universidad y leo libros en portugués, pero es difícil entablar una conversación con lusos en Estados Unidos porque casi automáticamente saltan al portuñol. Hablo español como idioma materno y mi inglés es muy académico. Juego al tenis todo lo que puedo aquí en la Florida.

Hi there. I'm a translator and bilingual editor of K-12 books in the United States. I studied Portuguese in college, and I still read books and newspapers in Portuguese, but I want to hold conversations with native Portuguese speakers without jumping to Portuñol. My mother's tongue was Spanish, and my English is pretty academic. I play tennis as a hobby here in FL.
