Hello, my name is Corey, I currently live in Sacramento, California. I received a bachelor of arts degree in Infomation and Communication Studies from California State University, Chico. I also completed 2 years of post graduate studies in English Literature. I have worked in the fields of politics, media planning and buying, and government regulation. I currently work for the Medical Board of California as an Enforcement Manager.
Currently, I am interested in learning some basic Japanese as I may be traveling to the country in the near future. I am not interested in romance or conducting business. I can converse on many topics such as: music, movies, politics, religion and spiritual matters, health and food.
I am a guitarist and have a small home studio. I can also teach you basic guitar if you are interetsed. For hobbies, I enjoy music, movies, reading, swimming, biking, cooking, and traveling.

I am learning Korean and Thai. I still remember a little Japanese as well, but not a lot. I am interested in language in general. I am quirky , maybe even a little weird. I am not great with super polite or serious chatting. I am genuinely curious about people and I love talking to people that have a good since of humour. I love dance ( Shuffling, electro etc) 클론 is my favorite music but I like a lot of stuff. I like kung fu movies, old school video games, and anything that makes me laugh.
I prefer to chat on LINE or Kakaotalk, (Whatsapp is also ok) But once I am comfortable with someone Zoom meetings are good too. If you contact me directly on a messaging app please just let me know who you are, not just "hi"... (thats a little creepy. 😅 )No romance please! 😁

I am a 63 year old retired truck driver who lives with his wife in a town near Sacramento, CA. I have a lot of interests but the one that brings me here is a desire to become proficient in reading and writing in German. I was stationed with the US Army in a garrison 19 kilometers north of Nuremburg (Herzogenaurach) from the age of 17 to 20; but as the Germans that I knew during that time spoke excellent English, I never got far with learning their language. It was an oversight that I have long regretted and I now have the time to make-up for it. I look forward to finding native German speakers who are interested in corresponding in writing. Hello! I am a certified TEFL English teacher, looking to get some experience teaching! I am planning on moving to Japan in a few years to teach, so I am looking to trade English lessons for Japanese lessons. I absolutely love drawing and comics. I would love to work in the Japanese entertainment industry as a mangaka or animator in the future.
I can teach any level or age of student! I have been teaching English since Oct 2020, primarily with 5-7 year old children and adults. If you have a textbook you like, we can use that, or I can help you find one that suits your level.
My Japanese level is almost JLPT N5. I would prefer to use the Genki textbook, either 2nd or 3rd edition.
I am willing to exchange lessons over Skype or Google Meetups.

Hey all! My name is Eloisse. I was born in Haiti but I live in the USA since I was 6. I speak English fluently. I am currently looking to obtain my TESOL certificate. I spent three glorious months in Taiwan in summer of 2018 where I became fairly comfortable with the language and culture. I do want to speak Chinese fluently. In the USA it is a bit difficult to learn Chinese (Taiwanese). The majority of the material is Simplified Mandarin. I want to learn Taiwanese fluently for when I move there after I complete school.
MY hobbies include studying languages, eating good food, satisfying my munchies, volunteering, soccer.....
P.S. I have lost my native language of Creole so I can't assist anyone with that.
