Hello my name is Myako Shiba my second name is Iyanna I was born in Japan but i didnt get a chance to learn the language so i could really talk to my grandparents. I am also 12 years old i know on my profile it says im 13 but i am actually 12 its just it wouldnt let me choose the correct year i was born. my native language is English and i love to draw and animate! My name is Lilia and I'm a retired elementary school teacher. My hobbies are photography, pen pals (UK, Australia, Germany, Norway), Bible Study, learning Mandarin, and travel with my husband. I have studied Mandarin on and off since 1968, since I started college. I studied it intensely at the Defense Language Institute for one year. Then I didn't study it for 37 years.
Seven years ago I returned to my studies. The last two years I have been reading Chinese graded readers and am now reading at the low intermediate level. In exchange for some help (and moral support) with Chinese I would be happy to help someone strengthen their written English skills.

Hello,
My name is Kevin im 33 and looking to make new friends and practice Japanese with someone. I've been to Japan 4 times and studied Judo at 国士館大学. I am 中国系アメリカ人 but I can't speak Chinese only English and some Japanese. I was born and raised in San Francisco, California. I like doing martial arts 極真空手 and eating Sushi and watch some anime hopefully we can become friends. I recently moved to Las Vegas and am it's hard to find language partners to practice with, I hope I can make new friends here and be able to practice Japanese.
